Join the Best DJartist collection.

Apply free to be listed for venues, bars, restaurants, weddings and private events across England. Every profile is reviewed by a person, and the fees are explained up front.

WHAT YOU ADD

A profile that speaks for your music

Tell venues who you are and how you play: your stage name, category, home location and travel range, genres, a biography, your starting fee or price on enquiry, YouTube or Spotify links, and your own photograph. Approved profiles are visible to everyone, including search engines; your account details, email and review notes are never shown publicly.

HOW IT WORKS

    Apply for free

Create an account with your email, confirm it, and submit your artist profile.

  2. 02

    Human review

Best DJ reviews your profile and leaves a note. Approval is not a guarantee of bookings.

    Receive enquiries

Reviewed venues and managers send you event details through a private conversation.

  4. 04

    Quote on your terms

Set your performance fee, VAT, expenses, payment schedule and cancellation terms. You confirm the commission before you submit.

  5. 05

    Confirmed booking

Once the venue accepts and Best DJ approves, a printable agreement draft is ready to sign.

TRANSPARENT FEES

What an artist receives

Applying and being listed is free. When a booking goes ahead, 10% of your performance fee is deducted as Best DJ commission, and the venue separately pays a 10% booking commission on top. VAT and separately itemised travel, equipment or accommodation are passed through in full.

  • Free application, no paid plans
  • Rates shown before every quote you send
  • Accepted quotes are locked and cannot be rewritten

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Does it cost anything to apply?

No. Creating an account and submitting an artist profile is free. There are no paid plans or listing fees.

Will I be guaranteed bookings?

No. Every profile is reviewed by Best DJ before it is listed, and approval does not guarantee enquiries or gigs. Venues choose who to contact.

How does commission work for artists?

When a booking goes ahead, 10% of your performance fee is deducted as Best DJ commission. On a £500.00 performance fee you receive £450.00 for the performance. VAT and separately itemised travel, equipment or accommodation costs are added on top and are not subject to commission. The rates are shown to you before you submit every quote.

Who can apply?

Independent DJs, singers, bands and live acts based in or travelling to England, with UK-wide enquiries welcome. You set your own location, travel range, genres and starting fee or price on enquiry.

What happens if I edit my profile?

Any change sends your profile back for review, and it is hidden from the public collection until Best DJ approves it again. This keeps every listing accurate.

Can I use the same account as a venue?

Yes. An artist profile and a venue or manager profile can sit in the same account, but you cannot send an enquiry to your own artist profile.

Your music. Their moment.
